Bedford River Festival
De Parys Rotary Club entered into the spirit of the 2010 Bedford River Festival by entering a team in the Dragon Boat races.
A squad of 15 took part including some Rotary members (past and present), family and 'others' (including 2 Aussies).
The initial idea of just 'taking part' soon gave way to a highly competative effort and we eventually came 7th (out of 32 boats) - just missing out on a semi final place.
A great day was had by all who took part.
